Where is it located?
The excellent lodge is situated in southwestern Uganda at the base from which to begin your gorilla tracking, bird watching adventures, nature walks among others.
How are the services?
Mahogany Springs Lodge provides comfortable 3 quarter beds with wrap-around mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms with showers. Power points are available in all the suites and guests can relax on the terrace. In addition, the Presidential Suite has two bedrooms and a living room. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is also available.
Can I enjoy fantastic meals at the Lodge?
At the lodge, all kinds of meals are provides and special meals can also be prepared to the request of our clients. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, as well as water in the rooms. We also provide a glass of cask wine, a soft drink or a local beer with meals.
Relax at the lodge
Visitors can enjoy leisurely breakfast on the terrace or just sit and enjoy the view; relax in the living room with its double-sided fireplace, book and DVD library and board games. Portable DVD players are also available. There is a shop and a restaurant in the main building. For a memorable dining experience, Mahogany Springs offers a private bush breakfast or dinner by the river, subject to availability. The bar is stocked with a great selection of International branded spirits, wines, liquors and soft drinks, and guests can book a massage with a fully qualified masseuse.
Activities at the Lodge
Lucky visitors can be visited by the amazing Gorillas while at this lodge and coming face to face with one of these peaceful creatures is an indescribable experience. Tracking Gorillas in their natural habitat is once in life experience while everybody must encounter before death.

3 Day Flying Safari to Bwindi National Park
This package has been prepared to offer gorilla trackers/tourists quick safari including scheduled and charter flights from Entebbe Airport or Kajansi Air Strip to Kihihi Airstrip and back after tracking Gorilla. DAY 1: FLY FROM ENTEBBE TO KIHIHI (SOUTHWESTERN UGANDA)
After breakfast Entebbe, enjoy 45/60 minutes flight to Kihihi airstrip in southwestern Uganda, from where our safari guide/ driver will transfer you to the home of mountain gorillas (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park). This is approximately one and a half one drive, lunch at Mahogany springs Lodge. Relax at the lodge or do communities walk to interact with the people in the nearby communities (FB). Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: GORILLA TRACKING
Breakfast, with your packed lunch, bottled mineral water, tracking gears and so on, move for a briefing from your game ranger with whom you will move through Bwindi impenetrable forest for gorilla tracking. This will approximately take 2 to 6hrs or a whole day depending on the movement of the gorilla groups. Stay with Gorillas for a maximum of one hour and take photos. Descend to your lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight. (FB)
DAY 3: RETURN TO KAMPALA
After early morning breakfast, embark on the journey back to Kihihi to catch your flight back to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
