Sheryl and Patty on 12 day Uganda Rwanda Safari
Safari Overview
Patty and Sheryl were 2 female friends traveled with African Jungle Adventures. They had a 12 days gorilla safari started from Kigali (Rwanda) and ended at Kampala / Entebbe (Uganda). The trip started on 5th and ended on 16th September 2014. They had 3 gorilla treks; First gorilla trek in Rwanda‘s Volcanoes national park on 7th September, second gorilla trek in Mgahinga national park on 9th September and the third gorilla trek at Buhoma, Bwindi impenetrable national park on 10th September. Other areas visited include Queen Elizabeth national park, Kibale Forest and Ngamba island. The main activities apart from gorilla tracking included golden monkey tracking, fantastic boat cruise along the kazinga channel, game drives, chimpanzee tracking, community tours, forest walks, birding and chimpanzee integration at Ngamba island. The lodges we used we Hotel des mille collin in Kigali, Le Bambou Gorilla lodge, Mount Gahinga lodge, Mahogany springs lodge, mweya safari lodge, Ndali lodge and a tent at Ngamba island.
